Parallel TCG Is Now on Steam and Mobile: What the Free-to-Play Sci-Fi Card Game Looks Like Today

Sci-fi TCG. Five factions: Earthen, Kathari, Marcolians, Augencore, and Shroud. Decks run 40 cards deep, built from Units, Effects and Relics, per that same Steam listing. The pitch is the setting and the art, not a reinvented rules engine.

The web3 part next, since that's what most Steam arrivals ask about first. Parallel's own FAQ is flat about it: "The game is Free to Play. It does not require a web3 wallet," and "You do not need Digital Collectibles to play." Owning the collectible versions of cards is what makes PRIME earnings possible. That's the whole crypto layer. If wallet-free entry matters, Parallel isn't the only option. Here are other crypto card games that skip the wallet requirement.

Nobody's put the whole Parallel TCG download map in one place since launch, as far as I can tell:

• Steam (new): April 29, 2026, free.

• Mobile? iOS and Android both went live in April 2026, also free.

• Epic Games Store has quietly had it since mid-2024.

• Want wallet support built in? That's what HyperPlay is for, the web3-native launcher. Optional, never required.

One warning before you click. A different Steam game is also literally named "Parallel" (app 1388350, an RPG). The card game is app 2604930.

Parallel Studios originally targeted an October-to-November 2025 window for both launches. BlockchainGamer.biz reported that target on September 23, 2025. By December 26, 2025, EGamers.io reported the target had moved to "the first quarter of 2026". It shipped at the end of April.

Two public re-targets, roughly half a year late. Not a scandal, honestly. But a recap that skips it is a press release with a haircut.

Here's the number nobody quotes about Parallel TCG. As of September 3, 2026, SteamCharts shows 3 players in game, a 24-hour peak of 4, and an all-time peak of 16. That is tiny. It's Steam-only too: Epic, iOS, Android and HyperPlay all sit outside that figure.

Now the other half, because leaving it out would be dishonest. Parallel's Prime World Championship paid a $250,000 prize pool at the HyperX Arena in Las Vegas, February 28 to March 2, 2025, with $100,000 going to the winner.

Both true at once. I'd rather hand you both than pick the tidier headline.

Probably, if sci-fi card games are your thing and the cost of trying Parallel TCG is zero. The thin Steam lobby is the real risk. With concurrency that low, matchmaking would get rough on Steam specifically, though the mobile and Epic queues may be carrying more of the load than SteamCharts can see.
